My rating: 3 of 5 stars
This was a new adult contemporary romance story, featuring a girl and her bodyguard.
Lexi was an okay character although she did make some decisions that weren’t in her best interests, and didn’t seem to consider that she might be in real danger.
The storyline in this was Lexi going to college, and having to take her new bodyguard Kevin with her because Axel (from book 1) was worried about her. We then got quite a slow attraction happening, which then built up to a very fast progression in the heat of the moment.
The ending to this was okay, but did leave us with a bit of a cliff-hanger.
