What was not part of the plan was falling for a guy she can never tell the truth.

Keegan Matthews has been secretly crushing on Dahlia ever since she started at his school. Sure, Dahlia thinks he’s crushing on some other girl—not realizing his Dream Girl is actually her—but he figures, play along with her tips to woo someone else, let her get to know him, and then make his move. The Secret Life of a Dream Girl by Tracy Deebs

My rating: 3.25 of 5 stars

The Secret Life of a Dream Girl (Creative HeArts, #4; Dahlia and Keegan, #1) “The sooner he gets Dream Girl, the sooner I can stop thinking about him as anything more than a friend.”

This was a YA contemporary romance featuring a pop star pretending to be a normal teenager.

Dahlia and Keegan were both okay characters and they both seemed like good people. I felt quite sorry for both of them at times, as they were both going through tough stages in their lives.

The storyline in this was about Dahlia trying to help Keegan get his dream girl, without realising that his dream girl was her! I felt like the story took quite a long time to get going, but then was quite sweet when things actually started to happen, and Dahlia and Keegan were really cute together.

The ending to this was pretty good, but I was shocked by Keegan’s mother’s behaviour.

6.5 out of 10
