Girl Last Seen “Just heard Kadence Mulligan is missing??? One guess who’s behind it. Payback’s a bitch, Lauren.”

This was an interesting YA contemporary story, with a bit of a twist at the end.

I liked Lauren and I thought that the way her best friend treated her was awful. As if it wasn’t bad enough that she couldn’t sing any more, she didn’t really need her best friend to constantly complain about it as if ishe was doing it on purpose just to annoy her!

The storyline in this was mainly about the mystery over what had happened to Kady, and who had caused her to disappear. There were a number of possible villains, and we were kept guessing for a long time as to who had a hand in Kady’s disappearance, and whether she was alive or dead.
We got a little bit of romance, which was quite sweet, but this was a little overshadowed by the possibility that Lauren’s crush could have killed Kady!

The ending to this was pretty good, and although I guessed the twists, I still enjoyed it.
