Blurb (From Goodreads):
Salty’s junk shop is Janet, Sam and Granny’s favourite shop. But snooty Mrs Grimbly-Whyte wants it knocked down, and the town council agree with her. But ‘never say die’ is Granny’s motto… she comes to the rescue with a brilliant plan and soon the whole family is busy creating a wonderful new shop.

This was a really cute children’s story about a man called Salty who owned a junk shop. A busy-body lady called Mrs Grimbly-Whyte tried to get it closed down by the council because she wanted a new antiques shop, but the crew cleverly found a replacement for the old shop in the form of a boat!

This really was a lovely story, and the illustrations were nice too, I’m sure we’ll read this book more than once.
