The Master Undone (Inside Out, #2.5)(Source: I received a digital copy of this book for free on a read-to-review basis. Thanks to Pocket Star and Edelweiss.)
This is a short story which comes after ‘Being Me’ in the ‘Inside Out’ Trilogy, and follows Mark as he journeys to New York to see his mother who is in hospital for surgery for her cancer.
Whilst in New York Mark meets Crystal, a woman who works for his mother, and seems to be one of the few people that dares to boss him about.

This was an interesting short from the series, and it was good to get a bit more of an insight into Mark and his ideas and beliefs. I really liked how Crystal managed to get under his skin so well, and managed to make him feel things that he had never felt before. I loved Crystal for her calm confidence and no-nonsense approach to Mark, and I loved how off-kilter it made Mark!
I wonder if we will see more of Crystal and Mark in the last book in the trilogy?
Overall; a fun and sexy short where Mark isn’t in control!
6.5 out of 10.
